Trick Eye, short for ‘trick of the eye’ refers to an art technique where two-dimensional paintings are turned into three-dimensional images through the use of optical illusions. This South Korea-born gallery features a number of original, mind-blowingly deceiving artworks, as well as newly created and adapted pieces for its Singapore site. Marvel at 2D paintings on museum walls, floors and ceilings – and try to wrap your head around the way they all pop out and come to life! Visitors are more than welcome to explore the six themed galleries with their eyes, hands, and of course, their camera. So step inside paintings, hang from a wooden beam, and get creative with your poses as you snap some photos and trick any onlooker’s eyes!
